[HTC] Hepatic Feedback

What is Haptic Feedback?

Haptic technology, or haptics, is a tactile feedback technology that takes advantage of a user’s sense of touch by applying forces, vibrations, and/or motions to the user.

Unfortunately, not every user like this feature. Some said that haptics is annoying and they don’t need anything else draining the battery.

If you need the haptic feedback/vibrate to be turned off for ALL applications like the dial keypad/calculator etc, here the simple trick:

Turn off haptic feedback.

Go to Settings

  1. Language & keyboard
  2. Touch Input
  3. Text input
  4. Vibrate when typing.

You can disable haptics in other areas of the system by going to

  1. Settings
  2. Sound & display
  3. Haptic feedback.
